As a part of their Innovation 2016 event in New York City, Nike today revealed a wealth of new silhouettes. One of the many is the all-new Nike Air Zoom KD 9.
Centered around the progressive style of Kevin Durant’s game, his ninth signature silhouette offers peak comfort and responsiveness thanks to the addition of Nike Flyknit and Zoom Air technologies. Designer Leo Chang, having worked on previous Nike KD releases, provides the low-cut silhouette with a distinct honeycomb structure allowing the knitted construction to enhance multi-directional movement.
A strategically placed Zoom Air unit moves from heel to toe signifying, visually and functional, just how far the Air bag has come over the years. The midsole takes on a smaller shape, yet sees its role in responsiveness increase due to its union with the Zoom Air bag and the anatomical flex groove properly placed in the forefoot.
The Nike Air Zoom KD 9 will launch globally on June 20 for all ages.
